FORE FISH Golf Tournament

  On June 22nd 2018 The Lake Quivira Fishing Club initiated the first FORE FISH Golf Tournament for the purpose of preserving the most treasured and valued asset we have…our Lake!  This fundraiser was two fold and designed to enable our surrounding community to continue enjoying the lake by fishing, boating and swimming for generations to come and enhance it by contributing funds for better access such as children’s fishing docks, better habitat, and stocking a wide variety of fish.

        In addition, a great connection was made with Project Healing Waters where Lake Quivira and the Fishing Club could give back to those most deserving.  This was found in the veterans involved with Project Healing Waters and their mutual love of water and Fishing.  A significant portion of the FORE FISH Golf Tournament goes to support their efforts to help in the rehabilitation process by teaching them various aspects of fly fishing. 

Lake Quivira is also PROUD to host the groups Regional Fly Casting Competition! During the tournament a regional fly casting competition is held with winners going to a national contest.
